Fintraffic’s Air Navigation Services

Fintraffic’s Air Navigation Services are responsible for air traffic control and management. Approximately 420 professionals are currently working in air navigation, for example as air traffic controllers, area managers, specialists and development managers. We also employ several technical experts, such as system experts, air navigation technicians, information management experts and planning officers.

Avia College trains new air traffic controllers annually through its popular training programme. We also strengthen the competence of our personnel by supporting studies in the Bachelor of Business (BBA) degree programme in aviation at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. You can find more information on Air Navigation Services and their operations here.

“I have been interested in aircraft, flying, airports and everything related to aviation since I was a child, so after completing upper secondary school, I had a clear goal of working in the aviation industry. I achieved this goal in the best possible way when I was able to study at Avia College to become an air traffic controller .”
